Marketing data analyst

We are looking for a senior analytics professional to become the central analytical intelligence for an investment fund managing 20+ iGaming companies. This role is not about reporting — it is about building analytical infrastructure and driving high-impact business decisions across the portfolio.This is an expert individual contributor role, not a people-management position. We are looking for a senior marketing analytics professional who can combine deep iGaming domain expertise, strong statistical/data science skills, and hands-on AI automation to build agentic analytics workflows across a portfolio of iGaming companies.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data analytics / data science / marketing analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience in iGaming, sports betting, online casino, or a closely related high-volume performance marketing environment. Operator-side experience only (no agencies/vendors).
- Deep understanding of iGaming marketing funnels: View2Reg, Reg2Dep, FTD2RD, deposits, repeat deposits, retention, reactivation, GGR, NGR, CAC, LTV, ARPU, churn, payback.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Proven experience with LTV, churn, cohort, retention, reactivation, segmentation, propensity, or traffic quality models.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, A/B testing, incrementality, attribution, holdouts, cohort analysis, and marketing measurement.
- Experience analyzing paid acquisition, affiliates, media buying, CRM/lifecycle campaigns, bonus mechanics, or traffic quality.
- Experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar.
- Practical experience using AI tools to automate analytical work: SQL generation, data exploration, anomaly detection, reporting, documentation, or insight generation.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve marketing analytics across a portfolio of iGaming companies, with focus on acquisition, player behavior, traffic quality, LTV, churn, retention, reactivation, payback, and unit economics.
- Analyze marketing performance across GEOs, channels, affiliates, campaigns, and player segments to identify growth opportunities, inefficient spend, suspicious traffic patterns, and weak funnel points.
- Build reusable analytical frameworks, dashboards, alerts, SQL/Python workflows, and models that help teams make faster and more consistent marketing decisions.
- Develop and improve LTV, churn, cohort, retention, reactivation, segmentation, payback, and traffic quality analysis.
- Identify recurring analytical tasks and automate them using AI tools, LLMs, agents, scripts, and data workflows.
- Build practical AI-assisted analytics use cases such as anomaly investigation, campaign diagnostics, cohort analysis, traffic quality checks, LTV monitoring, and automated performance summaries.
- Help standardize key metric definitions across portfolio companies, including CAC, LTV, ARPU, churn, retention, FTD, repeat deposits, GGR, NGR, payback, and funnel conversion.
- Support attribution, incrementality, A/B testing, holdout analysis, budget allocation, and marketing performance benchmarking.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing, product, finance, executive, and investment stakeholders.
- Ensure analytical outputs, including AI-generated insights, are validated, documented, based on reliable data, and reviewed with appropriate human judgment.
Strong Plus
- Experience in building AI agents, analytical copilots, RAG systems, LLM-powered workflows, or automated insight-generation systems.
- Experience with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, LangChain, Cursor, or similar tools.
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience with causal inference methods: geo experiments, diff-in-diff, synthetic control, uplift modeling, MMM.
- Experience with fraud signals, bonus abuse, affiliate traffic scoring, payment behavior, or GEO-level conversion dynamics.
- Operator-side iGaming experience is strongly preferred; agency/vendor-only experience is usually not enough.
